The 300 aac converted brass is polished nice and the annealing looks good. The primer pockets have been swaged well and haven’t had any problems seating primers. I have ran 100 of these through my SBR without any issues after doing some processing.
I have been converting my own brass for 4 years now and wanted to buy some already converted to throw powder, primers and seat bullets in without doing the lengthy cutting, trimming, debur and chamfer process. So far I have had to chamfer and debur some cases as they have visible burrs and a lip on the outside of the case mouth that has to be taken off after they cut the case down. So I have still had to spend time doing some work on the cases before loading and that’s what I wanted to avoid buying already made brass.

For the price it’s a good deal but I wouldn’t mind spending a little more if they were 100% ready to go.

I have purchased several thousand of this converted 300AAC brass and I’m pleased to say that it’s just about the best available in it’s category (converted). The only issues I’ve had are that some small percentage of the cases have burr’s on the base that need to be removed before the finished round will fit in the case guage. This forces me to put every round through a case guage to avoid bolt no-close. Nonetheless, it remains the best I have been able to find (other sources have the same problem but with much higher frequesncy of occurrence). MORE–I always order primed cases and the priming is perfect, little more than the cost of primers, and makes loading extremely fast and easy. BEST YET is the service; which is far-and-away the best I have encountered with a vendor.

Good: Shipping was fast. All .300 BLK cases tested so far slid in the Sheridan case gauge cleanly. Brass was clean and looked good, primer pockets looked good. No thick neck walls yet!

Bad: When I started loading, I found the necks were undersized and too often either crumpled or shaved copper from the jackets. I stopped loading the brass, and started running an expander ball into the necks. I’ve processed about half the order so far. So I did have to process the brass before loading.

I never thought I would have to shop so far from home, but I am glad I did. Shipping was fast. First thing I did was Mic The product. Very clean and accurate measurements. Thank you and I will tell my friends!!!!

I have only used approx. 100 pcs , but so far they seem to be properly sized and length. Nice and clean. I will be back for more.

This brass is as close to new as you can get (considering it’s once fired), and I’d say that’s an accurate statement. Other than the swedge of the primer pocket, it looks like new. Reloads well, chambers fine. I found no substantial difference in case capacity considering it’s military brass which is said to has reduced internal volume due to the thicker case construction

Brass looks great. Can’ say anything about the sizing, etc because I haven’t loaded any yet, still building the rifle, but I don’t anticipate any issues. I’m sure I’ll be getting more brass processed by Detroit Ammo in the future

Brass was exactly as described. Within SAAMI specs and could be mistaken for new brass.

At around $0.16/once-fired, trimmed to length, and deprimed, swaged to the new chambering, trimmed to length, it is foolish for me to continuing to process my own!

Trimmed to a precise case-length, clean, neck sized very nicely; this brass is perfect for a re-loader. Have you checked retail prices lately? If you do re-loading, even with a single stage press and you want to build 300 Blackout in a cost efficient manner, this is the brass to use. It flies through the progressive reloading presses. Very cost efficient.

Another great deal on brass….This stuff is cut and formed very nicely. I first bought a small quantity, figuring it would be to good to be true. But once I received my order and looked it over, I got back on line and ordered twice since, both time for 1000 cases. I’ll probably order a few more.

I was surprised when I received my package in 3 days. I was like a little kid opening up a Christmas present. When I did I was really surprised to see mostly Lake City brass.

Cleaned, trimmed, and sized. They even swaged to remove primer pocket crimp.
