These slugs are machined from solid aluminum and with a 357 bullet placed in the end. This slug is designed for home defense & personal protection. On impact of soft tissue, the slug expands leaving massive damage. Then, the 357 bullet continues at speeds higher than a 357 magnum. That all adds up to one very powerful shotgun slug. If you should happen to miss when this slug hits a wall, it will break apart into 10 different parts reducing the risk of over-penetration.
